Don MacPherson is a retired police officer with thirty years experience in the management, education, and investigative fields of policing. He is a former owner of MoMac Consulting Ltd. and MoMac Estate Services.
Don specializes in negotiations, mediation and arbitration under the Residential Tenancy Act. Don holds a Bachelor of General Studies Degree with a minor in Sociology from Simon Fraser University and has completed numerous courses from the B.C. Justice Institute in Conflict Resolution and Negotiations.
With his years of experience of having gathered and documented evidence for criminal and civil court, Don has established a unique and different way of preparing, information and evidence to be presented at a residential hearing.
His manner in which he conducts himself either through negotiation, mediation or arbitration brings results.

Charlotte Ciok has over 35 years’ experience in the real estate industry in British Columbia in various capacities and has held professional designations with the Canadian Society of Association Executives, The Appraisal Institute of Canada, The Real Estate Institute of Canada and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Charlotte also holds a Bachelor of General Studies Degree with a minor in Financial Management from Simon Fraser University and an Urban Land Economics Diploma from UBC’s Sauder School of Business. Other courses completed include interest based Conflict Resolution and Negotiation from the BC Justice Institute and contract law courses. Her broad experience includes senior valuation consulting, appraisal/real estate consulting, brokerage, and executive director positions with the BC Association of the Appraisal Institute and the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia.
Charlotte’s senior management positions required strategic collaboration and negotiations with a variety of stakeholders and a high level of organizational and human resources management. This included the ability to work successfully in multiple types of environment scenarios engaging both internal and external groups and the ability to examine research and provide court ready reports. Her strong real estate background brings a professional and respective style to landlord tenant negotiations and mediation.
Santokh (San) Uppal is a retired police officer with 29 years experience in mid-management, education and serious crimes.
San specializes in negotiations, mediation and arbitration under the Residential Tenancy Act. San holds a Bachelor degree from Simon Fraser University majoring in Criminology and Psychology.
San has also taught at the Justice Institute ( police academy ) as an instructor and has taken numerous courses there in Conflict Resolution and Negotiations.
During his policing career he also worked as a Hostage Negotiator learning all facets of Conflict Resolution and Negotiations.
Lee Murphy is recently retired after a combination of 35 years service both with the Federal and Provincial Government. He holds an Associate of Arts Diploma in Criminology from Douglas College.
While with the Federal Government at Canada Customs he lead many complex civil and criminal investigations giving him experience in presenting evidence at various tribunals.
Working for the Provincial Government he became a Residential Dispute Resolution Officer and he presided over many cases rendering decisions in many difficult cases.
Lee has developed his skills in negotiation and mediation and is considered an expert in his field. Lee is often called upon as a speaker to present on matters regarding Landlord Tenant Issues.
He has represented both landlords and tenants at hearings and will often try to mediate disputes before going to a Dispute Resolution Hearing.
He is the sole owner of Stray Cat Consulting.
Rob Wallace is a retired Police Officer with 29 years experience in the investigative, management and education fields of policing. During his police service he successfully conducted numerous complex civil and criminal cases, investigating and preparing briefs for both civil and criminal courts. While working in senior police management he had the opportunity to deal with and successfully mediate disputes between the City of Vancouver and provincial agencies, police officers and the residents of Vancouver.
Rob also worked as an investigator for a major financial institution for 11 years and conducted numerous criminal and civil investigations in Canada, and the United States. Rob also successfully investigated and mediated staffing issues and prepared and presented evidence at various Provincial tribunals.
Rob has successfully completed courses at both the Justice Institute of British Columbia and at BCIT in labour relations, management and conflict resolution. Rob is an active volunteer driver with the BC Cancer Society transporting cancer patients to and from their homes for treatment appointments.
